St. John Bosco Parish was established by Bishop Edward F. Hoban on June 1, 1963. To celebrate our 60th Anniversary, Father Matt is inviting parishioners to a picnic in our pavilion and the field surrounding it, on Sunday, June 4, after the 11:00AM Mass.
Father Matt will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs. Parishioners will bring the rest according to the first letter of their last names: A-H a side dish; I-P beverages; Q-Z a desert.
Everyone is asked to bring a blanket or lawn chair.
At at 3:00PM to honor our love for Jesus in the Eucharist, there will be a period of adoration
on the grass, concluded with a solemn benediction.
