As part of the El Salvador Mission of the Diocese of Cleveland, St. John Bosco has a relationship with the community of Corinto in El Salvador where we assist our adopted school, Centro Escolar Caserio, in meeting various needs. We also provide scholarships that enable Corinto students to attend high school at Santo Domingo School in Chiltiupan.
One of our annual El Salvador Ministry fundraising projects is a Chinese Raffle. This year the El Salvador Ministry has put together 17 wonderful, themed gift baskets for the raffle. The Baskets are on display at the Friday Fish Fry Dinners 4:00-7:30 PM (Feb. 23, March 1, 8, 22) and at the annual El Salvador Experience in the Bell Tower on April 14. Tickets are $1 a piece or 6 for $5. The drawing will take place at the El Salvador Experience on Sunday afternoon, April 14. Here are some of the baskets.
