The mission of our El Salvador Ministry is to support and embrace the Cleveland diocesan mission in El Salvador. Encouraged by the words of Pope Francis that: “An evangelizing community gets involved by word and deed in people’s daily lives; it bridges distances, it is willing to abase itself if necessary, and it embraces human life, touching the suffering flesh of Christ in others.” Based on the principals of equality, justice, solidarity and Christian love, we have established a relationship with the community of Corinto and assist the school that our parish community has adopted, Centro Escolar Caserio Corinto, and its needs. A relational trip to El Salvador, in collaboration with Saint Dominic Parish in Shaker Heights, takes place in February. The members gather on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.
