Holy Father’s Prayer Intention for June

Pope Frances’ Prayer Intention for June reminds us: “Torture is not past history. Unfortunately, it’s part of our history today.” He is urging “that the international community commit itself concretely to abolish torture, guaranteeing support to victims and their families.” Let us join in prayer that all of us as individuals respect the dignity of every person above all else and demand that governments do all they can to end torture wherever it exists. View his video produced by the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network to spread his prayer intention for June: to abolish torture in our world.
